The Reist Family Reuion on August 23

On my 2nd weekend extension...I got to spend time with family on the Reist side. My NaNa and PaPa were up from Florida, staying with my Uncle Brian and Aunt Patti for a couple weeks. I drove to Dowagiac on Friday night to attend the Reist Fam Reunion on Saturday. It was fun to see everyone and we definitely got some great pics!

Tegan's Baby Shower on August 16

My baby shower was so nice. I got to see so many family and friends I have not been able to see in a long time. It was really enjoyable. Good food, yummy cake, fun games and best of all great company. I also got a lot of nice stuff for baby Jack...the infant car seat, a high chair, boppy pillow, adorable piggy bank, some really nice blankets, some cute outfits, lots of gift cards and some cash to spend on the baby gear once back in Utah. My fav thing would have to be a cuddly soft green blankee with Jack's initials from M (my second Mom). I also got to meet Luke Christopher, Julie's new little angel and M's third beautiful boy! My mom gave me tons of cute stuff that she had made for Jack...very special!! Special thanks to my aunts (Sue, Julie and Tammy) for hosting such a wonderful party!

Michigan Weekend

Patrick traveled with me on my last trip to Chicago for the 1st weekend extension. We flew into O'hare on Friday and drove to Michigan to spend the weekend with my family. Saturday morning was my baby shower that my Aunts threw me....so much fun (see the next post)! Saturday evening was a Heuermann birthday celebration at my Mom and Jeff's house. Here our some pics...the first one being 2 of my favorite things (Patrick and the swing), the second one being Patrick with my cousin Ashleigh and the third one being my cousin Hannah with her adorable little Abby! It was so nice to see everyone and hopefully fun for everyone to "see" Jack! Patrick and I also got to spend some time in Chicago. We stayed with our friends Todd and Bronwen for a few days before Pat went back to Utah on Tuesday. The best part is that we got to enjoy sushi at Bobsan (one of our favs in Wicker Park)! It will be a while before we get to return to our 2 favorite towns on opposite sides of Lake Michigan, and next time, it will be with a new addition in tow!

Evan spends a week in Utah

Evan came to stay with us in Utah for a week in July. Patrick and Evan played a lot of tennis. We went to an Owl's baseball game as well as Park City for the day. Check out these pics from the exciting week.

24 Week Ultrasound!

We got to have another ultrasound at our 24 week appointment to see if Jack would cooperate more so that we could get good pics of his developing heart. Although he still was in the same position, the technician was able to coax him to move his arms and legs enough to get the needed shots to ensure that everything was progressing normally and developing just as it should!
