4 Month Stats

Jack turned 4 months on the 27th! We went to the ped about a week later for our 4 month check up. Jack now weighs in at 12.5 pounds and is 23 3/4 inches long. This puts him in the 5th to 10th percentile in height and weight. But he is ahead of the gang on all developmental milestones. We are finally starting to wear the next size...3-6 months! He just found his feet, and they are definitely his favorite new thing! He is rolling over both ways, holding his head up high and pulling himself up to a sitting position. He also babbles and squeals all the time! He is even starting to teeth and has been a little fussy! We made our Texas trip this weekend. I will complete a post detailing our trip tomorrow. I also promise to post some recent pics.

This Week with Jack!

We are having a good week now that everyone is feeling better and we have been able to finally get rid of the nasty cold bug! Jack is talking a lot and loves to listen to his own voice, and he also loves to get your attention...he is starting to realize just how to do that! He has started to take naps in his crib...but still sleeps in his bassinet at night. He is loving books and toys more and more each day. He also has realized that he likes to be held every waking moment and cries if he thinks he is missing out on any of the action. This last weekend, we watched a lot of tennis. The BYU boys had a big win against U of Denver...a very exciting match! We also watched the girls play Notre Dame on Saturday. We have been spoiled as Pat has been home with us for several weeks now. But he leaves on Friday for another trip to Cali. Next week we all go to Texas. So excited to see everyone and introduce our sweet Jack! Here is some recent pics of Jack.

2 Visits to the Doc in 1 Week!

Yes...we went to the the ped twice last week....the first time for eczema and the second for a bad cold. Jack weighs over 11 and 1/2 pounds now! He still has a cold...but has been pretty happy in spite of the nasty bug. This was my 3rd week back at work, and Jack is still doing really well at daycare. Mom is doing pretty well too:) Kind of busy this week with a big project, and still learning to balance everything...a pretty big transition for me. Pat's tennis trip got cancelled this weekend because of rain in CA, so it was nice to have him home from Jack and my perspectives.

AZ Fun and Pics

Since I just got my camera back...I wanted to post some pics from our Christmas trip to AZ.

Aunt Cheryl's Visit to Utah!

We really enjoyed Cheryl's visit to Utah. We got to do a lot of special things while she was here even though it was for a short time. We even got to have some girl's time while Jack was at school for a couple hours each day. It was really nice to catch up and hear about the exciting wedding plans. Of course, we went shopping. We ventured to Park City once evening for dinner to find out that it was the opening night of the Sundance Film Festival! We ended up having a great time. We went to a BYU tennis match, and got scalp treatments at my fav salon. Kind of funny, we ended up eating lunch out at the same place every single day. The best was just catching up and getting to share Jack with her. It made me realize how much I miss her being close enough to share in the little things! And it makes me even for excited to share in the upcoming wedding events! Here are some pics she sent me as my camera was out of commission during her visit!

Bath Time!

Daddy was giving Jack a bath yesterday which allowed me to take these adorable pics.

PS...Our camera is working again!

3 Months Old!

Jack was 3 months old on Tuesday! He is getting so big. He is such a happy boy. My camera is still out of commission...should be fixed and back within a couple more weeks! Else I would post more pictures. Of course, I think he is completely adorable. He smiles all the time and is just starting to squeel and laugh. He surprises himself with the laugh still as he's not quite sure about it yet. He has done wonderful in daycare and all of the teachers love him. Breaking News: He rolled over from front to back for the first time today at daycare. Mommy still has not seen it and she is trying to catch it on video! I think he had some performance anxiety with the camera on him. He is also trying to roll from back to front. During tummy time, he pushes his knees up under his body and rocks back and forth. He also does this really funny pose when on his tummy lifting his neck and head at the same time he arches his back lifting his legs like he is taking off or something:) He loves sitting up as well as standing up and laying down or even sitting in his bouncer very rarely suffices anymore. He does still love his swing. He is very alert and curious and takes everything in. He is still pretty tiny although he keeps gaining weight. He is still in size 0-3 months...at least for a couple more weeks. Pat leaves for another trip in the morning so it will be another mommy and Jack weekend! Ok, I think I bragged enough for one post. I will post a video once i catch him in the act of rolling over...hopefully soon.
