Santa Baby!

We took Jack to the mall last night to get his picture with Santa. He did so well even after waiting in line for over an hour. I think the picture turned out so cute. Thanks to Grandma Meribeth for this cute christmas outfit...the vest is just adorable. Jack has several xmas outfits so we have been sporting one every day this week. Yesterday, we went bowling with Aunt Dawn and the cousins, and had a lot of fun. It is 60 degrees here, and we have been taking walks everyday...and enjoying outside as much as we can. More pics to come later this week.

7 Weeks Old!

Jack is now 7 weeks old, growing bigger and learning new things every day! He can now sit up in his booster chair, and he is smiling more and more. He loves bath time and play time more each day. We are starting to play with toys and read books, and of course lots of tummy time. And he definitely knows Mommy and Daddy. We leave on Friday to spend the holidays with Pat's family in AZ. Can't wait to be able to take walks again in the sun!

Go Cougars!

I had to share a couple pics of Jack sporting his BYU onsie. We went to a basketball game on Wednesday, and he wore this under his navy and white striped outfit to show his Cougar spirit! And BYU won against Boise State!

6 Weeks Old!

Jack is 6 Weeks Old! The time is flying by and he is changing everyday. My maternity leave is half over:( He becoming so fun, developing his own little personality. We are enjoying every day!

He Smiles!

Check out this video. Jack displayed his first reciprocal smile on Dec 3, but it took me a couple days to catch it on video. He also is starting to coo as you can hear in the video. Too cute....he is growing so fast!!! Enjoy.

Jack's Baptism - November 30th

It was an extra special day for a couple of reasons. Jack was baptized on Papa Reist's birthday! Check out the video.

Nana Diane and Grandpa Jeff's Visit

Well, I know it has been over a week since my last post...but we have been enjoying our visit with Nana Diane and Grandpa Jeff. Jack was 1 month old on Thanksgiving day. He is getting so big and changing everyday! He is eating tons, more and more each day and growing like crazy. He now weighs almost 8 pounds and is over 20 inches long! He has discovered his hands. He feels everything, holds the bottle and sucks his thumb. He focuses on your face and has cooed a couple of times. You can tell that a reciprocal smile is right there and will soon come out:)

Thanksgiving was really nice, especially because we could share it with family. Patrick grilled turkey legs and my mom made all the fixings! All I did was the eating! We have extra to be thankful for this year as we have a healthy beautiful baby boy. We watched a lot of football as well of course and even a couple basketball games. Jack went to his first BYU basketball the day the grandparents arrived. Jeff and Patrick also went to a couple more while my mom and I hung out with the baby. We are still walking every day as the weather is still very mild! We also went to Park City with my parents which was a fun adventure (See the cute pic of them by the Park City Moose)! Other than that, we just hung out a bunch. It is extra special to be able to share Jack! Patrick and I also got to go to the BYU Xmas party while the grandparents babysat which was really nice.

Sunday was a very special day as Jack was baptized. He was really good, not one cry, only a few stretches and grunts. It was a beautiful service. Of course we videotaped it and can't wait to share it with all of our family. Here are a bunch of pics from the week.

Good News at the Dr!

We went to the doctor again yesterday for a weight check since Jack still had not hit is birth weight. We were thrilled to get good news as he gained 8 ounces this week to hit his birth weight and then some, now at 7 pounds 2 ouces! Had to share the good news. He is a healthy little boy, eating very well and still sleeping pretty well at night for mom and dad (knocking on wood as I write this).

3 Weeks Old!

Yes, Jack is 3 weeks old today! He is definitely growing his personality and letting us know exactly what he wants! We have started to be able to detect whether he is fussy, hungry, or angry as his cries become more differentiated. We had a good weekend. We went to the BYU soccer game against USC (NCAA 2nd Round hosted by BYU) on Saturday. Jack enjoyed the game from the sling on Dad. It was an exciting game, but BYU lost in a shoot out after remaining tied at 1-1 after 2 overtimes. BYU football got another win against Air Force, but the big game is next week against the undefeated Utes of Utah. On Sunday, we went to church, and then we all took an afternoon nap while catching some football. The weather has turned nice again and Jack and I have been taking daily walks which we both really enjoy. We are all very excited as Nana Diane and Grandpa Jeff are coming on Friday!

Jack's Fish Mobile and First Golf Bag

During waketime, Jack loves to gaze up at the adorable fish mobile. The cat also really enjoys the mobile...but definitely keeps her distance from that baby! PaPa, I had to take a picture for you as I found Jack playing with his new golf bag....Maybe next month he will start working on his swing!

Naptime

Ah...isn't it cute!!! Had to post this. Patrick and Jack taking a snooze in the chair. I think they are both so cute...even more when they are asleep! Quiet time for me!

Happy Sunday!

We had a nice and relaxing weekend. It started with good news on Friday. Jack's jaundice level was low enough to discontinue the lights! He only had to get one more foot prick on Saturday and now we are all done! It is definitely nice to be free after a week of the "lights lock down"!
Saturday, we watched a lot of football. BYU got another win against San Diego State. The BYU Women's Soccer Team also won the conference title on Saturday! On Sunday, we made our very first outing to church. We then walked through the outdoor mall for a couple of hours. Jack really enjoyed his ride in the sling. He also liked sleeping in the car. Here are a couple pics of Jack in his bouncer. This week he is starting to stay awake a little more, looking around taking in all the sights and sounds. He has also been a little more demanding, letting us know exactly what he wants! :)

Jack's First Walk!

Jack and I have been going on daily walks while we can while the weather cooperates! His first walk was extra special though because Grandma Maggie (Pat's Grandmother) came along pushing him through the neighborhood. Jack did sleep the entire time but Grandma and I really enjoyed it!

TaTa's Furniture for Jack!

Tata (Pat's Grandfather) dedicated a lot of time and effort to building a couple of pieces for Jack's nursury. Just had to share these pics as these handcrafted solid oak pieces are just beautiful! Words just don't do enough justice. So very special as these will be appreciated for a lifetime. The first one is a changing table and the second is a unique rocker with an attached cradle (definately one of a kind)!

Halloween...First Day Home!!

Hi everyone we all came home today! Jack is adjusting just fine so far...Life is definately different now for all of us, but we sure are having fun! Here are some pictures of Jack...of course Tegan had him dressed up taking this picture with this outfit and another with this costume! As I would have been you can see it really made him mad having to go through all these things. My guess is it won't be the last time his mother makes him do something he doesn't want to do. Anyhow check out the picures talk to everyone soon!!

Update on Jack Fisher 10-29-08

"Jack" is doing great! Here are some more pictures. Tegan is doing awesome... she is up and moving around no problem. Jack is regularly eating now and gaining weight. I can't believe how Tegan has handled things...she has been everything, man she is tough! Hopefully we will be home soon!
