New Toy for 5 Months!

Jack got his jumperoo...gave up on Craigslist and brought it new!

He absolutely loves it! It is by far his favorite thing right now other than Mommy and Daddy!

Happy St. Paddy's Day!!!

Weekend in Michigan and Week in Chicago!

The 3rd week in March marked my first work trip back to home office and chicago since Jack! It was extra special because Jack got to tag along with me on this trip and hang out with Nana Diane and Grandpa Jeff. The weekend in Michigan was very nice. It was also relaxing. Family came over to my Mom and Jeff's house on Saturday, and it was enjoyable day. We went to church on Sunday and then made our journey to Chicago. In Chicago...Mommy worked and ate lots of good food while Jack spent the week with Nana Diane and Grandpa Jeff. He also officially started liking rice cereal and is getting better and better with a sippy cup.

Texas Trip!

Ok, ok...I apologize...I have been a really bad blogger lately...just crazy busy! A couple weeks ago, we made our trip to Texas for a long weekend. Good times with the fam, great food and tennis. Jack and I flew to Houston on Wednesday night, and the flight went really well. The plane was not full, so we were able to take Jack's carseat on and we had an entire row to ourselves...and Jack slept the whole way! So he was in a great mood when he got to meet his PawPaw Jim and Grandma Cecelia. My dad cooked bbq on Thursday, and it was sooo good:). I know Pat was really jealous as he did not get any! I think Uncle James is definitely one of Jack's favorites. And Aunt Ronna kept asking Jack to come stay with her for the summer...not sure Mommy is ready for that. It was so much fun to see everyone with Jack! So special. On Friday, we drove to Corpus Christi, and watched BYU beat Depaul in a really exciting match. We went out for Mexican that evening, and it was really yummy. Saturday, we drove back home and had more family over that night. It was really nice to see everyone! Jack had his shots the day before the start of our trip, and s that along with teething was making him a little fussy. He got very happy on Friday and stayed that way until we flew home. Pat picked us up at the airport. Although it was said to leave, it was nice to be home and see Pat. Here are some pics.

4 Month Stats

Jack turned 4 months on the 27th! We went to the ped about a week later for our 4 month check up. Jack now weighs in at 12.5 pounds and is 23 3/4 inches long. This puts him in the 5th to 10th percentile in height and weight. But he is ahead of the gang on all developmental milestones. We are finally starting to wear the next size...3-6 months! He just found his feet, and they are definitely his favorite new thing! He is rolling over both ways, holding his head up high and pulling himself up to a sitting position. He also babbles and squeals all the time! He is even starting to teeth and has been a little fussy! We made our Texas trip this weekend. I will complete a post detailing our trip tomorrow. I also promise to post some recent pics.
