Yes...20 weeks and counting. Made it to the half way point of the pregnancy. Wow...has time flown by this time. It seems like we just found out that we were expecting! We all have enjoyed the time off over the holidays...but reality begins again tomorrow. Back to work for Patrick and I and back to school for Jack! It is kind of depressing...because I am going t o try and not take many days off before the baby comes so it is going to be a long several months! Tennis season is heating up and it is going to be really busy for all of us over the spring semester!
Jack is getting so big and he is really growing up. He understands everything now....and follows directions when he wants unless he doesn't like what he hears! As I was rocking him before bed tonight...I got a little sad as I thought to myself...how much longer is he going to rock and cuddle with me??? Everynight after we read and sing songs...I rock him for 2 minutes and he plays with my hair as we rock....then I kiss him good night and put him in his crib with his green monster and he goes to sleep for the night. I so cherish this special time. Even when it has been a long and challenging day...I look forward to our daily rocking session. I have always found rocking to be somewhat therapeutic and I am glad that Jack can now share in my rocking tradition. Just had to share.
