3 Months Old!

Jack was 3 months old on Tuesday! He is getting so big. He is such a happy boy. My camera is still out of commission...should be fixed and back within a couple more weeks! Else I would post more pictures. Of course, I think he is completely adorable. He smiles all the time and is just starting to squeel and laugh. He surprises himself with the laugh still as he's not quite sure about it yet. He has done wonderful in daycare and all of the teachers love him. Breaking News: He rolled over from front to back for the first time today at daycare. Mommy still has not seen it and she is trying to catch it on video! I think he had some performance anxiety with the camera on him. He is also trying to roll from back to front. During tummy time, he pushes his knees up under his body and rocks back and forth. He also does this really funny pose when on his tummy lifting his neck and head at the same time he arches his back lifting his legs like he is taking off or something:) He loves sitting up as well as standing up and laying down or even sitting in his bouncer very rarely suffices anymore. He does still love his swing. He is very alert and curious and takes everything in. He is still pretty tiny although he keeps gaining weight. He is still in size 0-3 months...at least for a couple more weeks. Pat leaves for another trip in the morning so it will be another mommy and Jack weekend! Ok, I think I bragged enough for one post. I will post a video once i catch him in the act of rolling over...hopefully soon.

The Trip to Michigan!

The trip to Michigan was fabulous. Jack had his first roundtrip plane flights. It went pretty well even for Mommy! Jack also started sleeping through the night! (Yeah, Yeah, Yeah...prior to Mom going back to work:)) Jack got to meet so many family and friends (the great grandparents, Uncle Brian and Aunt Patti and Breann, Aunt Sue and the kids, the Landry gang, all the church friends at St. Paul, Grandma M, Becky and Owen, Donna G., Aunt Edyth and Uncle Wayne), and it was so nice. He is such a happy baby, and it is always fun to share him with family and friends. Jack also got to spend some more time with Nana Diane and Grandpa Jeff. It was such a nice trip, although we really missed daddy. On the way home, we met Aunt Cheryl in Detroit, and she came with us on our flight to Salt Lake City. We had lots of fun with her over the next several days (I will post more details and pictures soon!) Check out these pics from our visit.

2 Month Check Up

We took Jack in yesterday for his 2 month check. He is now 10 pounds 10 ounces and 22 1/4 inches long and growing every day! The dr. assures that everything is great. Jack is so much fun now, doing new things all the time. We still are recovering from our first cold :( And we had to get our first set of shots at the checkup...I think that was harder on mommy and daddy:) Unfortunately, our camera is broken right now, so I won't be able to post any pics this week. Tomorrow Jack and I are flying to Michigan for a week before Aunt Cheryl comes to visit us in Utah, and I have to go back to work.
